Privacy Policy

Your photo library

The app asks iOS for access to your photo library so it can show you your own photos, one card at a time, and remove the ones you decide to clear out. You grant that access through the iOS permission prompt, and you can withdraw it at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos. If you decline, the app still opens — it simply has no photos to show you.

Deleting is done by iOS, not by us. When you confirm a cleanup, iOS shows its own confirmation sheet, and the photos move to Recently Deleted, where they stay recoverable for 30 days. The app cannot remove a single photo without you approving that system prompt.

Thumbnails are generated on the device, kept in memory while the app is open, capped at a small budget, and dropped when the app closes. No photo, thumbnail, or piece of image metadata is uploaded, transmitted, backed up by us, or shown to anyone else.

What the app stores on your device

Pet Clean It keeps a small amount of state in its own private storage on your iPhone:

• Your pet's fullness, and the timestamps used to work out how hungry it should be
• Your chosen daily target and feeding interval
• Whether reminders are switched on, and when they are due
• The identifiers of photos you swiped to keep, so they are not shown again straight away
• The identifiers of photos queued for deletion but not yet cleared
• A lifetime count of photos you have marked for deletion, for the statistics screen

Those identifiers are opaque strings that iOS assigns to items in your library. They contain no image data and mean nothing outside your device. All of this lives in the app's sandbox, is never transmitted, and is erased when you delete the app.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled by the app and delivered by iOS on the device itself. There is no push server, no device token, and no notification content sent anywhere. You can turn reminders off inside the app, or in Settings › Notifications.

Third parties

There are none. The app contains no third-party SDKs and contacts no outside service. The typefaces it is set in, Baloo 2 and Nunito, ship inside the app rather than being fetched from Google's font servers, so not even that request is made.

Apple. Pet Clean It is distributed through the App Store. Apple collects its own information about downloads and purchases under Apple's Privacy Policy. We receive no personal information from Apple about you.

What the app does not do

• No network requests at all — the app works exactly the same in aeroplane mode
• No account, sign-in, or email address — the app never asks who you are
• No analytics, telemetry, or crash-reporting SDKs
• No advertising, and no third-party trackers
• No selling or sharing of personal information, because none is collected
• No access to your location, contacts, microphone, or camera

Children

Pet Clean It collects no personal information from anyone, children included. It is not directed at children under 13, and there is nothing for a parent to request the deletion of, because nothing is ever collected.

Your choices

Because no personal information is collected or stored off your device, there is nothing on our side to access, correct, export, or delete. Everything is under your control on the device itself:

• Revoke photo access at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos
• Turn reminders off in the app or in Settings › Notifications
• Delete the app to erase everything it has stored

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version is posted on this page with a new effective date. Anything that materially changes how the app handles your data will also be called out in the App Store release notes.
