I swiped a photo by mistake — can I get it back?
Yes, and nothing has been deleted yet either way.
Swiped down, or fed to the pet. The photo is only queued. Tap the basket at the bottom left of the Pet Zone to open the Cleanup List, find the photo, and tap the restore arrow beside it. It goes straight back into the deck. Nothing leaves your library until you tap Move to bin and confirm iOS's own prompt.
Swiped left or right to keep. The photo drops out of the deck for 30 days so you aren't shown it again straight away. It hasn't gone anywhere: switch to the Kept tab at the top to see everything you've kept and decide again.
Where do photos go when I clear them?
To Recently Deleted in the Photos app, where iOS keeps them recoverable for 30 days. Pet Clean It hands them to iOS rather than deleting anything itself, which is why you always see the system's own confirmation sheet first — and why declining it leaves everything exactly where it was.
How do I stop the reminders?
In the app: open Settings › Notifications and turn the switch off. The same screen sets how often they arrive, if you'd rather just have fewer of them.
You can also switch them off for the whole app in Settings › Notifications › Pet Clean It on your iPhone.
How do I revoke access to my photos?
Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos › Pet Clean It on your iPhone. The app keeps working afterwards — it simply has nothing to show you until you grant access again.
Revoking access doesn't undo anything you already cleared, and it doesn't remove what the app has stored on the device. Deleting the app does that. See the privacy policy for exactly what it keeps.
